Life inevitably changes each moment, each day.
You don’t even have to do anything.
The weather changes; the sun hides behind the clouds, and the rain falls to reveal a surprise rainbow.
Emotional states change; our feelings are like traffic lights, constant and ever-changing.
Appetites change; what we once enjoyed no longer serves us. We yearn for new delights, for expansion and growth.
Relationships change; old connections either strengthen or diminish, and new bonds are born.
Parallel paths are explored together.
Bodies change; we grow older, we become stronger. We cross paths with disease, our cells rejuvenate, we look different, we lose hair, we grow hair, we become smaller, we become larger, we feel weaker—we feel the most alive we ever have!
Beliefs change; what we once held close to our hearts with certainty has transformed into something else.
The world changes individually and collectively. Together and separately.
You see, we really love change. We want to evolve, to grow, to enjoy the present moment just as it is, without internal battles taking over.
We want variety, certainty, and power—not powerlessness. We want to be the director of our story; this one precious life we have the gift of experiencing. Through the tumultuous and right back to the grounding, grateful, and purely joyful moments of life, we want it all.
Without change, there is no growth, and sometimes, you need to make a conscious choice to choose growth amidst the change. It isn’t easy, but it’s definitely necessary.
